South East of Silverglen Village, you will find a lonely and depressed troll called Fumble who demands that you pay a toll (1000 gold) to cross his broken bridge.
Walkthrough
- Speak to Fumble and Exhaust all dialogue options. You do not need to pay him the toll.
- Speak to Ruby just outside Silverglen Inn and hire her to keep Fumble company (2050 gold).
- In the inter character dialogue, choose between +1 Blunt and +1 Considerate.
- Return to Fumble and speak to him after Ruby starts telling him stories for your reward.
Caution: Do not exhaust all dialogue options (i.e.: the ones about the Troll king and why you must pay) if you have killed the Troll King. Fumble will commit suicide if he learns of his demise.
