Note 1

We have achieved more successes with our necromantic experiments than we ever could have hoped, but the undead that spread throughout the city influence the crystal skull to such a degree it is becoming too powerful to use. We should beware of unwanted consequences!

Found on a doctor's corpse in the southeast wing of the asylum.

My dear colleagues, I hid the key to the medicine cabinet in the supply room to prevent ghouls from spreading throughout the asylum. I prey to the Divine they don't reach the creatures.
