History of the Temple of Nimir is a book the player can find while exploring the basement of the Circle of Trust Inn in the Mardaneus Plaza district of Aleroth during the events of Divinity II: Flames of Vengeance.

ContentEdit

The Temple of Nimir has been used as a training course by Champions for decades, but it wasn't built to this purpose as it was discovered accidentally by sewer workers. The exact origins of this sanctuary are unknown: some rumors even suggesting it was built by Maxos himself, as a pendant to his temple in Broken Valley, but Prancing Seahorse scholars have denounced as 'ludicrous' the idea that the Dragon Mage ever had a sanctuary in our city. General Augustus suspects that more tunnels have yet to be unearthed. However, Deodatus has forbidden any further digs as long as Rivellon is under Black Ring threat: who knows what other monstrosities could be encountered deep beneath the village streets.
