Invisible Death was not originally the name of this bow but that of its wielder, who earned his nickname by striking from the shadows before vanishing. He did this so well that no one remembers who he actually was, save for the fact that he was aligned to Verdistis' assassins' guild.

This bow exemplifies how a ranged weapon user can achieve a critical strike rate in the 80's: 37% on the bow alone by replacing the default level 5 Butcher enchantment with level 10 Butcher (11% critical chance), in conjunction with 25% critical chance from level 15 Death Blow skill, and using some accessories that add 6-7% critical chance each.
