The New Order is a semi military and ecclesiastical order operating on Rivellon in 1300 AD.

Background[]

The New Order is an order made up of members of the Divine Order. This order was created shortly after Lucian the Divine One fell to a rogue Dragon Knight between 1244 and 1250 AD. The New Order is considered as successor of the old Divine Order and while their ultimate goal is to embody the ideals of the Divine, they are not solely an ecclesiastical order. Like their rival faction Champions of Aleroth and Dragon Slayers they train their soldiers in both ranged and melee combat, as well as magic. ^[1]

While they do consider Champions to be their greatest rivals when it comes to power, influence and money they still work together when it comes to fending off their old enemy: the Black Ring. ^[2]
