Ragon

Hello there, mercenary. Come to dance the dance of death?
Ragon Divinity II: Ego Draconis

Ragon is a bandit leader who dwells in a Dark Cave in the Orobas Fjords. He is one of the criminals you must kill as part of the A Hunting We Shall Go Again quest. Ragon is about level 20 and so are the rest of the bandits in the cave.

To remove the magical barrier that prevents you from reaching him in the western section of the cave, you must step on the pressure plates in southeastern tunnel in the correct order. As you approach (from west to east), the order is 3, 1, 4, 2.

With the barrier gone, Ragon can be found at the bottom of a curved staircase in the southeast. Accompanied by two warriors, he automatically engages in conversation when approached. Mindreading him reveals "With my latest jewelry, I'll be the belle of the ball!" (this causes a gold bag to spawn at the end of the cave containing legendary and/or elder items). All dialogue choices quickly result in combat.

The ring subsequently looted from his corpse is required as proof of his death for the A Hunting We Shall Go Again quest. His journal suggests that he is uncomfortable in the presence of women, and prefers the company of men.

A letter written by Ragon to the bandit Carmina, titled Dirty Scrap of Paper, can be found during the events of Divinity II: Flames of Vengeance.
