Velanir's Axe is a unique one-handed melee weapon that can be acquired at Keara's Flying Fortress Headquarters, formerly belonging to Black Ring member Velanir. Shortly after entering the headquarters you must mindread Velanir's ghost to reveal that it is trapped behind an ice wall (otherwise the chest will contain a random item instead). At the ice wall, a small lever activates a fire trap and melts the ice so that you can open the chest.
